Bernard's story

Bernard Tchoullouyan, world champion and Olympic medallist, was a great judoka and a great man.
He was my coach and got me into the French team.
I didn't have any money and he trained me for free and gave me a lot, but alas he died too soon, which meant he couldn't come and see me in Turkey.
The Olympique de Marseille, Marseille's emblematic club, honored his memory at the Velodrome stadium, because he was the first Marseille player to win a world championship.
Bernard was of Armenian origin, and this restaurant is also a tribute to the friendship between Armenians and Turks. His parents opened the first Armenian restaurant in Marseille, and today it will be the first Marseille restaurant in Alanya.
